This range of blank gameboards allows you to customise any board-based game which we don't offer in a customised version yet. Get creative and receive a gameboard printed to industry standards and surprise your nerdy gamer friends, that birthday boy or girl or the family gathered round the christmas tree!


Your custom game board - what do you want to print?


Our amazing range starts with chosing the right material: Do you want a traditional cardboard or a fancy wooden gameboard? And do you want to print on just one of on both sides of our blank wooden board? And for our blank cardboard boards, which size do you need? The medium DIY board, once folded, or the large gameboard, twice folded?


When it comes to what you want to print on your playing board we do not limit you in any way. Realise your niche gaming idea, or adjust an existing title, let's say Monopoly, to your needs - but don't forget to look out for potential licensing infringements! Do make sure to keep the size of the remaining gaming material in mind when picking the right gameboard though. That's why we offer different size for our DIY game boards: Games like Monopoly or Clue need a large board, whereas a game like Stratego will fit on the medium sized blank board.


Another important consideration should be the amount of detail in your print desings. Should you want to create a Risk gameboard using simple outlines for the regions our medium sized blank gameboard should suffice. But if your map is full of detail and pictures of your (or somebody else's) travels, the large DIY gameboard might make more sense to allow for a full appreciation of your work.


The choice of material is often defined by the purpose of the game. Game designers typcially use the cardboard version to iterate their prototypes in a cheap and more convenient way, and if this is about a gag among gaming nerds you also might not want to spend big. But if this is the ultimate DIY Stratego version for that good friend of yours, the wooden gameboard might just hit the right spot.


Specifically to round of the games that come as a gift we also offer customisable boxes that match the playing boards. Both in cardboard and as a deluxe wooden version of couse. But even for a board game prototype you might want to order a matching, albeit non-customised, box to store all the other components of your game.

Your favourite game in a one-off special edition - the truly unique gift idea

Design a custom edition of your favourite game with your own text and photos. As specialists in printing board and card games of any kind, and in the production of custom game accessories, we offer the greatest selection of customisable game titles worldwide. Here, you can create your own designs of age-old board game classics such as chess, backgammon, draughts, nine men's morris, or ludo, and of venerated card games like poker, gin, bridge, super trumps, or quartets. Design your own jigsaw puzzle variant, or create concentration sets in many shapes and forms, like hearts and stars. Beyond those time-honored classics, we collaborate, in some cases exclusively, with well-known game publishers to offer our customers in German-speaking countries the opportunity of customising trademarked games including UNO, Citadels, and Caesar & Cleopatra. Because this list is not yet as long as we want it to be, for some games, including Catan, wizard, or Cluedo, we offer the chance to customise playing accessories. Meanwhile, we are working hard in the background, in order to add more titles to our list and ensure licenses are available for Engilsh-speaking countries, too. In doing so, we are keen to hear your suggestions and requests - so please let us know, and we will take it up with the respective publishers! 

At LUUDOO, the process to create your unique game lets you design the game board, any cards, or figurines, and so much more: we are always extending the range of game components that can be designed and printed with your images, including dice and boxes, pawns and queens, tiles and whatever else may feature in a board game. We found that bearing off a piece in backgammon, or taking one in Chill! / ludo is so much more fun when the pieces show your mug, or that of your opponent. For best results, we use state of the art production techniques, including flatbed UV printers, laser cutters, or 3D colour printing. 

One principal aspect of your create process is the range of design options that we offer. For more than ten years, we have been refining the choices available to our customers in our online design tool. In doing so, we aim for the right mix of an intuitive, easy-to-use interface and the broadest possible selection of design tools ready for you to use as you create your own, personal dream game. Because most LUUDOO games are actually created as gifts, we also offer a wide range of design templates for all kinds of special occasions. So you may find heart-shaped templates for a wedding, birthday-themed templates for your quartets or poker decks, or Christmas motives ready at your finger tips as you create a unique edition of Chill!/ludo.

Then, we do know it's great when gifts are on time. The drame may be great when the wedding rings are still on the way to the wedding. But the set of concentration, with matching pairs that you designed just for the wedding couple will be sure to turn heads as it's presented. So we produce your games as fast as possible, and we try to communicate reliable delivery times clearly, so that your design may be on time for Christmas, birthday, or any other very special occasion.
